This rare youlihong cup has peach motif (桃子, taozi). Peaches symbolize immortality and, as gifts, the wish for a long and healthy life in Chinese culture. In Daoism, the peaches of immortals (仙桃, xiantao) are consumed by the immortals.
The youlihong shows great areas of emerald green, making this cup particularly attractive.
Due to the high temperature in the kiln, this cup is not completely symmetrical.
